Ad guidelines
MONDAY has no principles. We do, and these are the ones.
As of 5 October 2026 (version 2026-10-05)
The contract language is German. This English version is a translation for your convenience; the German version is binding.
1. Who sells, who books
The ad spots on mondaymustdie.com are sold by 42cloudz GmbH, Theodor-Heuss-Straße 14, 63486 Bruchköbel, Germany (“we”).
Only businesses within the meaning of § 14 of the German Civil Code (BGB) can book: companies, the self-employed and freelancers, for their business or professional activity. Private individuals don’t book here. By booking, you confirm that you act as a business.
These guidelines apply to every booking. You accept them with the tick in the booking form, in the version in force on that day. The advertiser’s own terms and conditions do not apply.
2. What we don’t show
No ad, no picture and no linked page may contain, promote or lead to any of this:
- Pornography, sexual or erotic content, sexual services and dating with a sexual focus.
- Extremism, hate and anti-constitutional content: propaganda and symbols of unconstitutional and terrorist organisations (§§ 86, 86a of the German Criminal Code, StGB), their codes and substitute symbols such as 18, 88 or HH, Reich flags and the like, and incitement to hatred.
- Violence, the glorification of violence, and terror.
- Discrimination based on origin, skin colour, religion or belief, gender, sexual identity, disability or age.
- Weapons, ammunition and explosives.
- Drugs and other intoxicants, and accessories for them.
- Gambling, sports betting and lotteries.
- Cryptocurrencies and crypto trading, trading signals, forex, pyramid schemes and promises of getting rich quick.
- Instant, short-term and payday loans.
- Political and religious advertising: parties, candidates, elections, referendums, political campaigns and religious communities.
- Misleading health claims: promises of cures, miracle products, effortless weight loss and the like.
- Fraud and deception: phishing, subscription traps, fake shops, counterfeit goods, imitating other brands or people, and anything misleading about price, origin or features.
- Content aimed at children and young people, or that may endanger them.
- Anything else that breaks the law or infringes the rights of others.
3. We check every ad
Before you pay, our server automatically checks name, text and link for keywords from the list above and turns down the obvious with a note. That is no substitute for a review: after payment, a human looks at every ad, with its picture and linked page. It runs only once they approve it. Until then, the booked days stay reserved for you.
If an ad has not been approved by its first day, it runs from the approval on. We refund the days it did not run for that reason, pro rata.
If we reject an ad during the review, you get the full price back, automatically through Stripe, the same way you paid, and the days are free again. The contract for the advertising service is only concluded with our approval; until then, your payment is a prepayment.
4. Rejection and removal
We may reject any ad without giving reasons, and remove any running ad at any time, in particular if it breaks these guidelines, after complaints, on the order of an authority, or if the linked page changes. For days on which an ad then no longer runs, we refund the price pro rata. There are no further claims, as far as the law allows.
5. Your responsibility
You are responsible for your ad: for its name, text and picture, for the rights to them (such as trade mark, copyright and personality rights), and for the linked page. The page must be lawful, have a legal notice (Impressum) where required, be reachable and serve no malware. Don’t change it after approval in a way that breaks these guidelines.
You indemnify us against all claims of third parties arising from your ad or the linked page, including reasonable costs of legal defence, unless you are not responsible for the infringement.
6. Labelling
Every ad is recognisable as advertising: labelled “Anzeige” (ad) and, for sponsorships, “presented by”. We add nothing to your link and set no tracking cookies.
7. Prices, payment and invoice
The price the booking form names applies. All prices are net; VAT is added according to the billing address. You pay at Stripe, and Stripe emails you the invoice. Refunds go back through Stripe to the payment method you used.
8. Law and jurisdiction
The contract language is German. German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. The place of jurisdiction for merchants, legal entities under public law and special funds under public law is Hanau, Germany.
9. Changes
We may change these guidelines for future bookings. You can tell a new version by the date at the top. A booking is governed by the version you accepted with it.
